Researchers In Hong Kong On The Way To The Creation Of The “Bionic Eye”

Researchers in Hong Kong are developing bionic eyes with strong eyesight. This eye will be useful to use within the next 5 years. This petrochemical device will restore sight in the eyes of blind people. According to a report, the device is designed to look like a human eye.

For this, the researchers have added the perfect structural design required. It is said to be the world’s first predatory artificial eyeball. The device will be able to surpass all the functions of the human eye, say researchers. Researchers at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology say it can be used by people who are completely or partially blind.

An article on the study was published in the journal Nature. The article states that the device, which is as functional as the human eye, can hold high resolution. The tiny segments in it can bupastar the image, which is similar to the photosensitive cells in the human eye! These anchors contain a membrane of aluminum and tungsten, made in the shape of a semi-sphere intended to mimic the human retina.

Making such devices before was very challenging. However, Professor Xian Fan of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology said the technology will be practical and practical in the next five years.
